Customers that use a full rack (40 rack unit) to themselves appreciate that they can expand to multiple locking cabinets. We use locking enclosures with high-output fans. Each rack unit is 2" high.

	1/2 of a rack is equal to about 20 rack units (20U), and each rack unit is 2" high. This allows enough space for a large cluster of small servers, or a small cluster of large storage servers. Typical 1/2 rack customers use the space for storage servers and high-availability application clusters.

	1/4 of a rack is equal to about 10 rack units (10U), and each rack unit is 2" high. This allows for about 10 small 1U servers. 1/4 rack is also perfect for small server clusters, web design company servers, or backup servers. You can always increase your rack size as you go.
